WHAT SHOULD WE BE DOING WITH OUR ROSES

CUT BACK

If you haven’t done so already, now is the time to cut back your roses, don’t worry you can’t really cut them back too hard.

If they are floribunda roses and planted in the garden cut back to approx. 6”, put some mulch around the base of the plant to help protect in the winter.

If you have a Patio rose bush in a tub, cut back to about 6” and again you can mulch around the base, never bring the roses inside, roses can survive in temperatures as low as -27 degrees as a recent trip to Moscow revealed.

Happy cutting back…..

Testimonials

I would just like to say how pleased I am with my rose order, they arrived on the date indicated, were beautifully packaged, I must give you 10 out of 10. I now look forward to lovely blooms in my garden next year. As these roses were named for two of my family members they will be a lovely reminder of them. Thanks a million.Barbara
