CUT BACK
If you haven’t done so already, now is the time to cut back your roses, don’t worry you can’t really cut them back too hard.
If they are floribunda roses and planted in the garden cut back to approx. 6”, put some mulch around the base of the plant to help protect in the winter.
If you have a Patio rose bush in a tub, cut back to about 6” and again you can mulch around the base, never bring the roses inside, roses can survive in temperatures as low as -27 degrees as a recent trip to Moscow revealed.
